Roman Senate Simulator is getting a thorough reorganization in the files and folders department. There are a LOT of files in this piece of software. The devs have decided it's time to do some housekeeping. So all files are getting checked, cleaned up, abbreviated where possible, and organized in a better folder format. This means the file tree is going to be changing significantly over the next week. Also John David has done a few major bug smashing passes. He'll be continuing to balance the game and look for bugs over the next few days. All developers on the team interested in helping should contact Bruno.
Roman Senate Simulator welcomes Diane to the dev team.
Roman Senate Simulator welcomes Aakar to the project team. Aakar will be helping as a developer.
Roman Senate Simulator welcomes Luke to the project team. Luke will be helping as a developer.
RomanSS has a new member! Vincent is the latest addition to our development team.
Lots of little pesky bugs in RomanSS. The good news is our devs are catching them and smashing them in their tracks. Also there is some work being done on optimizing the code for readability. Nothing like taking 200 lines of code out of each file and turning them into 1 line that calls a php function. This is the process RomanSS is undergoing to help improve development efficiency.
Lot's of work has been put into getting Roman Government Sim into release candidate status. The current build can be viewed and played at http://www.brunorotk.com The game is available for installation. However getting it installed and running properly will require some knowledge of php and MySQL as well as web administration. Please also check out the suggestions in the documentation online at sourceforge.
This is technically the first release to the public. So there is no change log.
We now have our screen shots up for viewing. There are about 5 more I'd like to put up here, but these will start to give you an idea of what the game looks like.
