Rigs of Rods is a 3D simulator game where you can drive, fly and sail various vehicles using an accurate and unique soft-body physics engine.
Since 2014, the source code moved to a new github repo at https://github.com/RigsOfRods/rigs-of-rods
- rigid body physics simulation
- can simulate cars, trucks, airplanes and boats and everything inbetween
After downloading this to my desktop AVG anti virus popped up a warning saying it contained OpenCandy.7AF which is some type of adware or other malware. After "healing" it with AVG and moving onto other things on the computer then shutting down for the night, when I turned the computer on the next morning the same warning popped up so I tried to "heal" it again. Now i am not sure that Rig of Rods is actually going. USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION!!!!!
An awesome simulator with many add-ons and a great physics engine! By the way, this is so good, I have not been playing Need For Speed for quite a few months now! BTW, it is true that AVG detects it as an OpenCandy threat, but I allowed it and there have been no problems for a couple months now.
Cool game, I made a gameplay video of it: http: //bit.ly/1ntE3YT (remove the space between http: and //bit.ly)
wouldnt even download ( i have a windows8 laptop)
Excellent simulator, most realistic one I've ever used.
