Net Responsibility is Internet accountability software for Linux. It runs in the background and logs every website you visit. It sends a report of those sites to people you select. That way, they can hold you accountable for your surfing habits.
Awesome product, especially effective when used with Dan's Guardian!
- Implemented logfile rotation (really, it's cleaning more than rotaton) - Attempted to work around a bug in the daemon that caused the pidfile to sometimes not get written - Tried to improve how the daemon responds to signals - Worked around the SQLite3::BusyException bug; but it's only a workaround, not a fix - HUGE performance improvement in the report tool. I now build up an array of strings, rather than a single giant string. Runtime for a large database went from several hours to under 30 seconds. - Fixed a bug in net-responsibility-report that prevented the program from running when called by anacron.
