  • This tool has been very useful for us in opening, editing and analyzing large EBCDIC files. We considered a number of other tools and options but this tool was the best. Also, the performance when opening and saving files is impressive.

  • Very useful tool, because many programs save info into files that are actually binary, but some fields are textual. In this case RecordEditor comes to the scene to preserve binary format that traditional text editors may damage.

  • Decent little app. Helped me a lot. One feature request. I spend all this time putting record layouts together, and I have no way to share them. No export, no nuthin.

  • This is an excellent tool for viewing mixed record ASCII text files using dynamic file mapping for read and write. Very similar in many ways to FileAid but without the expensive pricetag. The developer is very responsive to questions, issues, feature requests, etc.
