Could you please attach an archive with your variant files, so we can understand what is going on with the Region Tool?.

Several variants use a build rule other than Aberration and Chaos; that is the ability to build in captured HOME centers. Imperial and Imperial1840 and several other variants use this rule.
Implementation of this option in RP would be a great asset to GMs running games with large maps, many SCs, and many players.

Sorry for my previous comment, i must have been tired or something... :">
There is no bug. The "no retreating if NMR" rule works at the power level, not at the unit level. As long as Russia orders just one of his units, every russian unit (even NMR'd ones) will be given the option to retreat, if dislodged and not disbanded. This is because Russia isn't in CD as long as it issued even one...

Dear Sirs,
I am a huge fan of Diplomacy and your Realpolitik Game makes playing so much easier. I am currently attempting to compile my own variant of the game set in the USA around the Civil War, however i am suffering some problems with regards to the Region Tool Device.

Well, in my 1.6.6.2, i have all units waiting for retreat orders:
France:
F Spain(sc), no move received
Russia:

What's the bug?.

Adding support for winged units (or air squadrons) would be awesome. It adds a strategy twist to all variants. Not sure of the exact rules of movement for winged units but extended range (for movement and support - i.e. two provinces) comes to mind.
Thanks for providing us with a great piece of software. Job well done and keep it up!

In the map attached, altough Russia didn't send order to Swe, they could retreat (because they could retreat from rum, where they did send order). This is a small bug which I hope will be fixed soon.
