RapidCRC is a tool for windows for checking and creating CRC32 and MD5 checksums (.sfv/.md5 files). Goal is to use the fastest available (assembly) implementations for this task. Specialty: direct support for CRC32 checksums stored in filenames.

  • In Windows 7 (64-bit) the shell integration does not appear to be working correctly, for me it does not show up at all. This however was not the case on the identical computer running windows 10 technical preview. Other than this I have found no bugs. I would like to see a lite gui for using the shell extension, perhaps a smaller and simpler interface. Overall this is a very good application, I find it much better than the competition (really only 7zip) and has very nice features overall.
