  • radmaclab RadMacLab v1.2 file released: radmaclab_1.2.zip

On the admin side I added: Better search interface for machines. Ability to set screen resolution on machines. Better logging capabilities. Laid down the ground work for scheduling. This is not finished and I'm not sure if it will be, since I'm re-evaluating how I use this in my own labs. On the client side: Scripts are written a million times better. The tripwire scripts check for changes and run if necessary. The idea is that you run these at a specified scheduled time (ie: with cron) and log the user out and run radmind. The "labs" script runs radmind if there a certain number of files changed (you can edit this). The facstaff script runs radmind only if there are updates from the server. Pretty straight forward. Use in conjunction with a LogoutHook The documentation sucks, I know. I will be setting up a Wiki sometime in the future for the documentation.

  • radmaclab RadMacLab v1.1 file released: radmaclab_v1.1.tar.gz

11-24-2003 -- This is version 1.1. Updated documentation. Created readme file. NOTE: None of the scripts are fully tested with OS X 10.3 yet. I'm reasonably confident they'll work, though. 11-3-2003 -- Added ability to set printers and default printers using lpadmin Added ability to search for machines in admin interface. Updated client scripts. Bug fixes galore. Better admin interface, with new color scheme, logo, etc.
