Sorry, obviously, i need more information.
the following is my understanding.
the main project (ASET), will link other libraries (say ASETQUICKFixMessage.lib and ASETEvents.lib) in binary format.
but in the Tags folder, there are various version (say v1.1, v1.2, v1,3),
so you need a way to let main product link with different version of libraries(A.lib use v1.3, and B.lib use V1.5).

2. the compiling env (are your using vs 2005 , delphi or others)

Hi Sheily,
The answer is no, currently, the dashboard does not has the ability to control the r2build on other machine. (while the r2build.exe works as an agent, but dashboard for now can only connect to the local r2build), will consider in the future version.
For now , my experience, is using the check file plugin to achieve that.

Can I use R2build to trigger software builds on standalone build farms for different products?
Example: If I install and configure R2build on my desktop, then using my desktop can I either schedule or trigger a build on demand for "Product 1" on "Remote Computer 1" and/or trigger build for "Product 2" on "Remote Computer 2"?

You can use the custom command node in build in functions group.
in the custom command dialog, there are two config item,
command to execute, input the following "perl c:\mydir\myperl.pl"
command working dir, input "c:\mydir"
again, your perl.exe should be in the path... else, you should input the full path , ie "c:\perl\bin\perl.exe c:\mydir\myperl.pl"...

Hi,
Can I use R2Build to trigger a batch file which in turn will call a perl script (or sets of perl script) that will build each modules of a project?
If I don't want to use batch files, then can I reference perl files directly in r2build for building purposes?
