I've found it. I had to make the .quickdc dir in my home dir, and then I fired up QuickDC, and suddenly the file "queue.xml" was there.
But there's one problem, though.
QuickDC aint storing the queue.
All the file contains is this:
<!DOCTYPE TransferQueue>
<Download application="QuickDC" version="0.1.0" />
I'm going to try the CVS, and see...

Always when I quit QuickDC I lose my download queue.
Would it be possible for me to back up the queue file by hand? If so, where can I find it?
BTW, QuickDC rocks. Your GUI is fantastic. DCGUI-QT's gui is like some child from a kindergarten made it, while your is as professional as it can get.
Keep up the good work. I hope you can make QuickDC even better, and perhaps fix some bugs :P.

Using the latest CVS (as of March 3rd 2004) I
successfully built and installed for KDE 3.2 (stable).

The last release had multiple build errors, which I do not have the time to fix at this point. Please do not report any bugs about it, I'm well aware of it.
These bugs will not be fixed by me, wait for a new version.

Well, the project has been going on for over two years. And so far, four releases has been made.
The first one required Qt 2.3 and used the tmake build system to generate Makefiles, which meant that people couldn't compile things since they had no configure script to check their dependencies. So, there was a transition to automake etc. New dependency problems occured when moving to the Qt 3...

The latest CVS still breaks for me under slack 9.1. Any progress on the 1.1 update? :)

In case you haven't been reading your own forums, it's not just *my* machines, or even just *my* distros that choke while compiling QuickDC. In fact the only people I haven't seen any compilation error reports from here are Debian users. This is why I believe you should re-label your release packages from "Platform Independent" to "Debian". If it won't compile on Slackware...
