qooxdoo is superior to it's competitors, including YUI, ExtJS and QWT. I've developed applications with all and found Qx the easiest. My background is desktop application development, though!

Sophisticated API, well thought-through toolchain and testing framework. Excellent backend integration. Widget library is not yet as complete as in other frameworks, but that's just a matter of time. A bit of a learning curve, but fully worth the investment. Once you know how to do things the qooxdoo way, you won't look back.
