A good idea to get some great documentation done is to set up a QDVDAuthor manual at flossmanuals.net. They are a community that writes free documentation for free software. If you want I can contact them about setting up a manual as I already contribute to manuals listed on the website such as the Inkscape manual.

The [o] button is to stop the video ( as opposed to pause if you click on th [>] button again ).
The slider is for the audio volume of the video playback.

Hi,
I am encountering the same problem that skorpio1066 has described, but with more recent versions (qdvdauthor 2.0, as RPM package as well as self-compiled, openSUSE 11.2).
Each time when I am trying to add a movie to the menu background, the file selection menu pops up, I can preview and select a movie, but when I press the OK button, qdvdauthor crashes with "Segmentation fault".
