QBIC is bascially a "four in a row" board game, except that you can place your tokens on 16 sticks. This way you can connect four tokens in 3D space and no longer on a 2D plane.

The "Start Game" and the "Reject Client" buttons in the server menu are now enabled correctly.
Hello! The server menu buttons were enabled at the wrong place in the last release. We recommend updating to this release if you want to play online! You can download the installer here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/qbic/qbic-setup-SVN212.exe Konrad
- Graphic settings in release mode changed. Now using a resolution of 800x600 pixels, no FSAA, Copy as RTT method and 16 Bit color depth. - Added the German User's Guide and technical documentation files to the docs folder. - The "Start Game" and the "Reject Client" buttons in the server menu are now disabled by default. They are enabled when a client has connected. They are disabled when you enter the server menu, when you click on "Reject client" and when the connection is lost. - The install script has been rewritten to create the correct start menu shortcuts. - Some changes where made to the credits file CREDITS.TXT and resources/gui/Credits.xml. - No changes were made on network layer 7.
Hello! This is our second release. We fixed several GUI stuff, like the server menu. The installer works fine now. There's also a German User's Guide included now! You can download the installer here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/qbic/qbic-setup-SVN211.exe?use_mirror=o... Except the ugly ray casting bug when selecting the sticks on the board, everything works almost fine! We, the development team members, are located in Germany and we experienced some network problems when playing with friends from abroad (Chile). Important network packets not make their way, so that server and client are waiting for each to make the next turn. This is not good and we definitly have to think about network communication. Keep on playing! Konrad (Kowi)
