PyXB (“pixbee”) is a pure Python package that generates Python source code for classes that correspond to data structures defined by XMLSchema. In concept it is similar to JAXB for Java and CodeSynthesis XSD for C++.
The documentation is incomprehensible, I just want to know how to access a member when it has a namespace. I've been trying to figure this out for several hours. AttributeError: 'CTD_ANON_5' object has no attribute 'EntityNames' There doesn't seem to be any documentation of the objects and their methods, and how to use them. The examples use trivial XML without namespaces. The code generator generates syntax errors when used with this XML schema: uk-gaap-ae-2009-06-21.xsd import _uk-gcd as _ImportedBinding__uk_gcd All in all, absolutely fucking awful. One of the most user-hostile libraries I've attempted to use in a long time.
