PyUUID is an OO wrapper to the libuuid library distributed with the `e2fsprogs' project, which can generate and manipulate RFC4122 universally unique identifiers (uuid) of version 1 (time-based) and version 4 (random-based). pyuuid-0.0.1-beta11 is a maintanence update distributed in the forms of source code and prepackaged binaries at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pyuuid
