I'm in the same situation as morbidmorvick. A current workaround is the one I got from [here][1], to hexedit pySonic.pyd and Find/Replace python23.dll to python25.dll.

Setting ThreeDListenerForward and ThreeDListenerUp seem to have no effect. These are not documented, but i need a way to have the Soundscene rotated according to the current line of view (rotation of the camera).
Tryed on pySonicEx, FMod 4.06.01 and Python 2.3.3.
