Yes, I have french setting. I tried to change language to English in "language for non unicode program", but it does not change : same error log. Was it what you meant? What do you mean by "get read of unicode"?.

I don't use windows much... if it needs tcl/tk try an earlier version. 8.4.18 or 8.4.19? Gary.

  • What are the variables of the config.txt file

This was brought up in an earlier forum post, but the Hanafuda games do not work correctly even with the different cardsets. For some reason, it cycles through only 4 of the 12 suits resulting in triples of all the cards. I'm assuming the actual game code is right, and it's just grabbing the wrong images, so if I knew what the parameters in the config.txt file are, I can probably fix it. Any...

  • How to remove excess games

I am downloading this so that I can move my mom's laptop to linux, because windows is causing problems that won't resolve by reinstalling. She isn't the most saavy, to say the least, and I need to remove the games she isn't going to play from the menu to make it easier to use. Also, I would like to add desktop shortcuts linking directly to individual games. I have very little experience...

  • Followup: RE: PySol FC 1.1 on Vista

Sorry for the delay getting back to you... With Vista, there's two different places where "C:\Program Files\" stuff is stored, right...? (Or 3, maybe if you count "all users" (?)) - When a program that isn't 100% Vista compatible attempts to write to it's directory, ie: "C:\Program Files\Pysol FC\" - Vista will usually automatically and silently redirect it to...

  • PySol FC 1.1 on Vista

Hi, I've been running PySol on XP for a while, and it worked great. Having bought a new computer, with vista on it, I reinstalled it. I tried many versions of pysol, many of python, and pysol FC 1.1, uninstalled everything and reinstalled only Pysol FC, but it won't work : when I launch pysol.exe, the program says "errors occured, see the logfile C:\\Program Files\Pysol...
