Yes, I have french setting.
I tried to change language to English in "language for non unicode program", but it does not change : same error log. Was it what you meant?
What do you mean by "get read of unicode"?.

Do you have some french setting?
control panel > Clock, Language and Region Settings.
Change to english? get rid of unicode?

This was brought up in an earlier forum post, but the Hanafuda games do not work correctly even with the different cardsets. For some reason, it cycles through only 4 of the 12 suits resulting in triples of all the cards. I'm assuming the actual game code is right, and it's just grabbing the wrong images, so if I knew what the parameters in the config.txt file are, I can probably fix it. Any...

I am downloading this so that I can move my mom's laptop to linux, because windows is causing problems that won't resolve by reinstalling.
She isn't the most saavy, to say the least, and I need to remove the games she isn't going to play from the menu to make it easier to use. Also, I would like to add desktop shortcuts linking directly to individual games.
I have very little experience...

There are two svn version:
pysolfc.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pysolfc/PySolFC/trunk - current version for python 2.x
pysolfc.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pysolfc/PySolFC/branches/PySolFC-3000 - branch for python 3.x (beta, behind the main version)
For run pysolfc from svn you need to add the directories "data/html" and "locale". You can copy this dirs from pysolfc-1.1...
