A vastly under-appreciated project!
Thumbs down only not to give a positive bias of my own project :-) First, if something fails, please post it on the tracker first! I *want* to know about it. I wish I could disable anonymous thumbs on sourceforge so at least I could contact you!! What can I say? PyFFI is just the perfect project for any developer to do any file format work on Python - it's not fast as hell but fast enough for most purposes dealing with not too large files (up to a maybe 50 megabytes for a very complicated format, and a lot more for simpler formats), and it's interface is simple and straightforward to use. On top of that, zero open bugs on the tracker (how many projects can claim this?), quick response rate, fast development, new features added regularly, old features continuously improved, and code is healthy and well maintained. I wish I knew what I was doing wrong here to deserve such aweful rating.
your asking to much info for something so trivial
