Currently, we're working on NPC implementation and scripting and fixing the file format for maps. Once these are finished, we'll release 0.0.3alpha. I'm working with Expat to try to make a working XML format; it's reasonably cool.
0.0.1alpha has been released. This is the first release of Psychopyretic, which is as of now in alpha testing. There is no real game mechanic yet, but you can move around, jump on platforms and crates, and destroy crates (theoretically).
This is the change log against zero. All code written until now was written by Tom Dickson-Hunt for the Allegro TINS game programming competition in 72 hours. --Game supports map files (simple binary structure dumps) --Can move, jump, stand on platforms/crates --Can destroy crates with psychopyretic power
