pcapsipdump is a tool for dumping SIP sessions (+RTP traffic, if available) to disk in a fashion similar to "tcpdump -w" (format is exactly the same), but one file per sip session (even if there is thousands of concurrect SIP sessions).
This is a big improvement over using tcpdump to generate multigigabyte VoIP packet captures for analysis with Wireshark when doing interoperability testing or VoIP troubleshooting. Instead, with pcapsipdump, just start the daemon and you can pick out the specific test calls or failed calls that you're interested with a: ls /var/spool/pcapsip/20091005/17/*4165551212*
