PScrape is a Perl module with functions to<ol><li>parse text files for useful data by using regular expressions and</li><li>write the resulting data into a file a tab separated values, useful for insertion into an SQL database.</li></ol>

<p>All of the useful text parsing has been moved into a module called PScrape.pm and all of the non-parsing stuff can be seen in the new example file, scrape_example.pl. Other improvements:</p> <ol> <li>A new improved README.txt file that is relevant to the restructuring.</li> <li>There is no longer a need to rely on files to save dirty data.</li> <li>A gross system call in the write file function is GONE! I CONQUERED IT!</li> </ol>
