  • Followup: RE: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIA

For some reason, when this file is uploaded to the server, it winds up being one long line of code. The comments in the code cause it to throw-up. The solution is to open the document in a text editor and copy the contents from beginning to end. Then using any file manager you might have on your web server (CPanel has File Manager), open the file for editing, delete the mess that's there...

  • Assign Media Issues

I am having a problem trying to assign media. The jpg and gifs seem to be uploading correctly. I get a confirmation message that the file was uploaded and I can go into the public_html/media directory and see the images, but there is no thumbnail next to the file when I use the assign media link to assign media to a story. The link opens fine, and the image file appears when I search for the...

  • Followup: RE: registration - "internal server error"

Did you get this fixed? I'm assuming that it was the first validation link that failed. Did you try the second link lower on the page? (The one that the email says to click and drop the user id and key code in if you can't click the first validation link.) Or did neither of the links work? What was the rest of the "internal server error" message? (IE: Props Error in...

  • Followup: RE: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIA

I had the same problem I tried everything. The file /lib/database/mysql.php is not resolving for the browsers. The file opened in single line instead of in coded format from my host in firefox. I opened the file in IE and copied and pasted in mysql.php. the it showed up in several lines and without errors. Now the site is working. I give the code in several lines with proper indentation.
