Prompt Courier is an instant messaging system intended for use in corporate LAN environments. The system is written in Java so both the server and client portion will work on any Java enabled platform.

1) Pressing the minimize button in Windows will now minimize the window instead of putting it in the system tray. 2) Added a -home-dir option which you can use to specify the user's home directory (used in storing history). This can be used to improve performance in the case where the user's default home directory is in a network share.

This release contains a couple of small changes and bug fixes.
1) When a client connects to the server with the same name as an existing cient, the existing client will disconnect. 2) There was a bug in the display of the time when a message is received or sent. This should be fixed now. 3) I changed the way the system tray icon works in Windows. Now it is always visible regardless of the state of the application window.
