Hi Peter,
In the Installation section, we indicate that swi-prolog compiler is required. And also there is a link to the page that contains the steps for configuring that compiler. We thought that was clear enough.
Nevertheless, we are going to change that documentation for the next Prodt release.

that console that has a basic integration with eclipse. So, we may say this isnt a bug ;-)
And as we intend to develop a helpful tool, your report is very useful for us. So we are going to add it in our feature request list.

With 0.1.1 dropped into Eclipse 3.5, Java's usual F3 key binding ("Open Declaration") is disabled. I stopped the Workbench, deleted dropins/prodt, restarted and F3 was working again (restarting alone didn't restore it).
