PrepMS 64-bit version is not available for 64-bit Windows XP and Linux systems. Configuring 64-bit Platforms (Windows and other then Windows). Mathworks does not provide the MCRInstaller.exe for the 64-bit platforms, thus MCRInstaller.zip was built for PrepMS 1.0. Installation instructions taken from the Mathworks help file. 1. Install the MCR by unzipping MCRInstaller.zip in a directory, for example, /home/username/MCR. You may choose any directory except matlabroot or any subdirectory of matlabroot. 2. Copy the component and CTF archive to your application root directory, for example, /home/username/approot. 3. Add the required platform-specific directories to your dynamic library path. See Directories Required for Run-Time Deployment: http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/compiler/index.html?/access/helpdesk/help/toolbox/compiler/buildmcr.html&http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-39V4NT.html?product=CO&solution=1-39V4NT This is a bit more complicated then running MCRInstaller.exe on a 32-bit Windows machines. Make sure that the 'Path' environment variable that points to the unzipped directories are updated by going to: 'Control Panel' -> 'System' -> 'Advanced' tab -> 'Environment Variables' -> select 'Path' in the 'System variables' tab and click 'Edit'. Make sure to append the additional paths, do not delete the information that is already there!!!!
