  As you might have noticed, development of PowerMovieList has stalled since a few years. No further development is done by me - but everyone can download the code and do whatever he wants to do with it (at least what GPL allows...). Personally I use now a Desktop-Application to manage my Movies: http://periapsis.org/tellico/ Niko

• powermovielist 0.14 Beta file released: powermovielist-0_14_beta.zip

  FIXED: - fetch-script for kino.de, dvdpalace.de and imdb (Michasch) - default-values are used when adding entries and field is not displayed - default-values are used when all fetch-scripts return anything - fetch-scripts are now unloaded after fetching every property (to avoid memery-problems) CHANGED: - removed $CFG[SessionSavePath] - set it correct in php.ini ADDED: - loaning-feature (Studdegle) - now using Pear CacheLite for fetch-script-cache (Niko) - imdb-fetch-script now uses aka.imdb.com to get more search-results (Monsieur) - more imdb-options to fetch (Monsieur) - fetch-setting for akaCountry (Monsieur) - smarty-template for login and add comment - new registered users have to be enabled by an administrator (optional) (activation-mail is sent after the user was enabled) - new user-right: user-admin - badwords-filter for comments - email-blacklist for registering users - option to allow only registered users posting comments and voting - when user gets deleted all comments and votes from this user are deleted - new db-function (not really related to db): delete uneeded files in cache and upload-folder - delete files in cache and upload-folder when entry gets deleted - where possible use mysql_uncached_query instead of mysql_query (should be faster) - a lot of new config-variables - usergroups and better rights-management - mass-fetch-update - image-resize-functions for file-uploads and cached urls - custom proptypes (define your own sql-query for a field) - smarty-version 2.6.12

  ADDED: - user-favorites can be used on huge pages (like movie-index.net) where the linklist has more than 250 entries - new right: loan-rights - display only 5 comments in the popup (more over a link) - check-database and fix-database-functions now work too for big databases - new langauge: Turkish (thx to Sadik Alp) FIXED: - Bug in DownloadFile with that the Downloads failed on some servers - some other bugfixes - imdb-search (by Michasch) ATTENTION: - changed user-rights (added loan-rights) if you have custom templates you have update them!

• cvs-server moved!

  we set up our own cvs-server because the sf.net had some problems... they fixed them now but we will continue to use our own one...
