    I use it to syncing directly computers over internet. No need to store my files in the cloud, it guess that's optional.

    they have now a free version of latest version 4.0 which is totally new. And yes its a file sync tool the online storag eis optional http://www.powerfolder.com

    yes has limitations but is doing fine if you want to sync less than 10 gb of data per computer. More costs money but thats the way things seem to go in OS.
