This new release replaces an obsolete release file that was previously on Sourceforge, which lacked a number of new features. This version of POA includes progressive buildup and global alignment. It has much more functionality (global & progressive alignment), an updated README, a BLOSUM matrix showing how to specify a decaying gap penalty, etc.
