Hi Xavier,
you should use bmeps instead of png2pdf, see http://bmeps.sourceforge.net.
If for any reason you insist on using png2pdf, open png2pdfm.c in a text editor
and remove the calls to dksf_set_file_binary(). These calls are needed on Windows systems only, for Linux/Unix the default file opening mode is binary.

I'm trying to install png2pdf on Ubuntu intrepid (8.10) x64.
Configure ran smoothly after install dklibs.
But when I ran make, i got the following:
collect2: ld a retourné 1 code d'état d'exécution
make: *** [png2pdf] Erreur 1
Which I can try to translate to:
collect2: ld returned execution status error code 1
make: *** [png2pdf] Error 1
(something like that)
