Compiling plplot with MSVC 9.0 (2008) failed due to some missing/conflicting __declspec() specifiers.
There were also a mangled name (C++) of the plD_DEVICE_INFO_qt in qt.cpp.

You could use pladv(), which advances to the next page and clears it. This is how it is normally done in the examples. It still a bug though it seems.
