PassPort is a simple port forwarding utility. The program runs as an NT Service and can forward various ports from any of local interfaces to whatever remote IP address. It is easily manageable with a simple Windows GUI. Runs on MS Windows XP or newer.
i found a little problem here.. i use broadband dial-up to get an internet IP Public.. everytime the connection redial, i hv to restart PassPort also.. can it be configured hv "keep-alive" feature?? so everytime the port definition not working, it restart automatically :)
Release 1.0.0 * added udp support * event driven winsock2 programing * logfile (DebugLog class added) * clean shutdown of threads * memory leak in forward_tcp fixed
New release version 1.0.0 with added logging facility, udp support and bugfixes
0.1.0 (12/07/2007) Created the first public version by taking the port forwarding piece of code from web page of QuantumG. Then added the interface and possibility of easy configuration plus forwarding of more than one port. All that compiled and released ;-) The program installs as the service that reads the PassPortConfig.xml containing list of ports to be forwarded to remote machines. The XML file can be prepared by running the PassPort.exe -Control. The application opens the service control page that can be used to start/stop service and configure the list of forwards. To install the service it is enough to execute PassPort.exe -Install. To uninstall PassPort.exe -Uninstall
