Hello,
i made the mistake to set the screen resolution to 1280x1024, but my computer doesn't support this resolution.
When i start Pinball via the console, i get the following message:
myName@machine:~$ pinball
Initing SDL
0 joysticks were found.
Couldn't set video mode: No video mode large enough for 1280x1024
Then it closes and doesn't run.
I tried to deinstall pinball and...

ATI X700
Intel HDA-ICH6 with CMI9881 output using ALSA

Hi, I'm having only one issue with Emilia Pinball: all sounds are noisy (think of an old, heavily scratched vinyl record).
My setup:
- AMD-based laptop with Turion64 2GHz CPU;
- ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 integrated gfx card;
- ATI HDA-compatible sound card.

could someone provide a tutorial how to compile pinedit (and SDL) on OS X please? I did not get it to work.

I'd say this is a good thing: it keeps you from "orphaning" objects when you tar up the table.
