Pidgin

I am using Pidgin 2.6.3 (Windows) and the setting I enter for the Auto-Away status will not stay at the value I set. It stays for a while, but then reverst to "Offline" and logs me out of all my accounts.

I'm talking about Preferences > Status/Idle > Auto-Away > Change Status To. I set it to away, but after some random amount of time it resets to "offline" no matter what I do.

It does save the config files when I close the prefs window, and if I go right back it is set to my personal setting, but without fail, it will eventually revert back to "Offline" no matter what I do. I've tried setting it to other values besides "Away", but all end up reverting to "Offline".

What is going on and why won't my settings stay as I enter them? Is there something else that is changing this value I don't know about?
