pidgin-snpp is a protocol plug-in for the Pidgin IM client (formerly gaim) that allows sending messages to pager servers (like sendpage or qpage) via the Simple Network Paging Protocol ("SNPP" - RFC 1861), basically turning Pidgin into an SNPP client.

    I've decided to move pidgin-snpp into the guifications plugin pack at http://plugins.guifications.org. I just don't have to time to maintain it as a standalone for all the changes in the gaim/pidgin platform. rekkanoryo has been converting it into a pidgin 2.0 protocol plugin, hopefully we'll have a release soon! http://plugins.guifications.org

    After the big news from the mothership[1], I asked some of the devs and we all thought it would be prudent to follow suit here, and that's just what I've done.
