What's happening?

  • I am confused

Did Picasa2flickr change? I have a picasa flickr button (which I thought was the picasa2flickr) that is integrated with flickr uploadr that has a 120 photo limit. I use to have v3 of this button (I call it v3 because the button has a flickr logo with a small 3 in the lower right) but eventually upgraded to v4 (same button but a 4 instead of a 3). I started investigating the 120 photo limit...

  • Followup: RE: 120 photo limit?

To add to my earlier post my filenames are very short. All are 8.3 long. IMG_9999.jpg for example.

  • Followup: RE: 120 photo limit?

I'm seeing the same problem with version 3.2.1. For some reason the uploader only allows 120 images -seems independent of file size or anything. Workarounds would be appreciated. I'm using Picasa 3.10 via Flickr Uploader.

  • Followup: RE: 120 photo limit?

I think it is a matter of command line size See: http://code.google.com/intl/fr/apis/picasa/docs/button_api.html#command "If you do not include the “foreach” parameter or set its value to anything other than “1”, then the executable launches exactly once with a command line that lists all of the image files, individually quoted and separated by spaces. This can fail if too...

  • Followup: RE: Why are photos copied to a temp folder?

Hi you're right, I've enabled the export option: "<param name="export" value="1"/>" See: http://code.google.com/intl/fr/apis/picasa/docs/button_api.html#exporting "all of the images in the tray will be exported as JPGs at their original sizes to a temporary folder and then used as the source files passed to the executable via the command line...

  • Why are photos copied to a temp folder?

When I click the Send To Flickr button, it would take a long time to process before the files show up in Uploadr. After a few uploads, I got a warning that my computer was running out of space. Turn out, everytime I use picasa2flickr to upload, the photos are first copied to a temp folder and they don't get deleted after the upload. Is this expected or a limitation of third-party picasa buttons?...

  • 120 photo limit?

I'm using the latest windows uploadr (3.14). When I try to send a large number of photos via "Send to flickr", only the first 120 photos ultimately make it into the Uploadr queue. Is this 120 photo count a limit to picasa2flickr?.

  • Opens Preview in Max OS X 10.5.6

I am running OS X 10.5.6 and Picasa 3.0.4 I installed the "plug-in" but it launches Preview. Any ideas or suggestions on why this is happening? Thanks!

  • Applying Picasa watermarks before upload

I notice that the application of watermarks does not occur prior to the images being transferred into the Flickr uploader. This is my default action when exporting to JPG or syncing with Picasa Web Albums. I assume the export process this tool uses creates temporary JPGs with all the Picasa edits applied, so I also assume it should create those files with the Export defaults applied. Is...

  • Followup: RE: Unable to click within Picasa Mac Beta

Theoretically it's only a matter of "path", Google provides some special parameters to look-up inside the windows registry, I have to find out if there is something equivalent for Mac OS X. See http://www.flickr.com/groups/picasa/discuss/72157600296149658/72157612225044499/ I hope to have some time to find some tips in the google documentation ...
