HI, First of all, I love this program, I' ve been using it for years, but always with dial up internet conection, I' ve tried to use it through a Lan, with a proxy server and I don't know how to configure it.
I' m using WinXP. If someone can give me a tip, I will preciate it.

Hi!
I'm not able to send mails although recieving is ok.
This is the text I get:
recv: 550 5.7.0 Need to authenticate via SMTP-AUTH-Login {mp048}
send: RCPT TO:
recv: 503 5.5.1 MAIL first {mp048}
stat: SMTP error 503 5.5.1 MAIL first {mp048}
smtp after pop is checked and I don't finde any place else to configure an authntication (-- like in outlook)

First check, that the server is really available (ping )
It is possible to create a protocol (go to enhanced - environment options, DUN/Online tab, check the 'Create Protocol' setting). Fetch again and post the protocol here (it is created in the folder were Phoenix Mail resides, passwords are hidden in the protocol).
