If i was redo this project again i would have opted for flash instead of an applet but then today i found http://helene.muze.nl/ written entirely Javascript. I would recommend any to use this for a web IDE. Im amazed! Great piece of work.

i found 2 bugs in it so far
if you use j2re you can't write in the edit box
and when you push save, then it reloads the text from
file as it was before save and shows that on screen
and change for a quicq fix ?.

I am trying to install a copy of phpwebedit on my server. I set everything to very simple values, even tried all default values. Everything seems to work, but it fails to save files from the editor mode. Ever seen this before? Any ideas on what it could be?

In the Netscape 4 work only alphanumeric keys. Any
other keys, such as arrows, enter, del, etc. do not
work at all.
