v0.9.12 is quite old.
Please email info@silisoftware.com for a copy of the latest (v0.9.16-beta) version, or at the very least please use the released v0.9.15
Anything older than that and I'll just be chasing bugs I've already fixed.

0.9.12 installed a week ago.
clean install, didn't have anything installed previously.
I think it's in one of the filters provided. It still seems to work, just does that on a few filters.

What version of phPOP3clean are you using? I can't seem to replicate this with my current development version.

What do you have PHPOP3CLEAN_MAX_MESSAGE_SIZE set to in phPOP3clean.config.php ?
Default is 1MB, so you shouldn't come anywhere close to using up all 8MB if you're not processing messages larger than 1MB.
