phpMyCalendar

Ok this may sound stupid but I cant get the script to work. How do I correctly include the language file in db-fuct.lib? When I require it like this: require("lang.en"); the script just hangs when I try to go to index.php. I can get to newuser.php and it works just fine. i see that there the langage file is used in an include. Anyway some help with this would be great.
