When using the backup function to backup my wordpress install, the software has replaced all the files with blank versions, and all the backuped files are blank. This is a major problem and needs to be investigated at the highest importance. i am using the latest version of phpmybackuppro.

This function has been DEPRECATED as of PHP 5.3.0 and REMOVED as of PHP 6.0.0. Relying on this feature is highly discouraged.
Please replace on mysql_real_escape_string.

Hi,
It seems PHPMyBackupPro is connecting to the other instance of MySQL that Snow Leopard has built-in ! The version shown on the first screen is mysqlnd 5.0.5-dev - 081106 - $Revision: 1.3.2.27 $, but MySQL is the verion 5.1.38 64 bits !
How can I change which MySQL the backup connects to ?

Hello, since Snow Leopard has been installed on the XServer, PHPMyBackupPro 2.1 does not work anymore. I checked the config files and access, they are still fine !
It doesn't accept the MySQL logins anymore...
What can I do to fix this ?

Hi Same issue for me.
My automated backups from v2.1 were working fine, till last week when the database hit 17MB then all bakups were 0KB.
the php.ini didn't work for me but version 1.8 works fine.
My details...
Server
Zeus/4.3
PHP
PHP Version: 4.4.9 Safe Mode activated: no PHP Memory Limit: *Can not be retrieved*
gzip compression possible: yes Emails sendable: yes...

I've got a problem where if I move the above file out of the phpmybackuppro folder, I get the above error... no matter how many ../ or whatnot I use..
running this on windows with iis6.

hi, i'm using the version 2.1 and the cron:
php /home2/cademeu/public_html/phpMyBackupPro/backup.php cademeu_loja 0 0 0 1 ../images/
but the files are backed up in the ftp without zip compression... there's a way to make the option "packed = on" available to the shell mode?

I'm getting this error during the backup:
mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in C:\......\functions.inc.php on line 665
I think it is related to empty tables, isn't it?.

I get the same message doing a manual backup of a 200 meg database. It has been working for over a year and just stopped a few weeks after we moved to a new server.
MySQL 5.0.67
PHP 5.2.8
Have you resolved your problem?
