Thomas,
gg\_map\_content.php includes googemap.php which includes defaultconfig.php which defines $GOOGLEMAP_ENABLED.
Are you sure all your files synced to the latest SVN.

Hello,
since I could not find any other place to leave this message, I will do it here, although it has nothing to do with phpGedView itself.
When I open http://www.phpgedview.net/ in my browser, it will default to http://www.phpgedview.net/de, correctly detecting the default language set in my browser.
BUT: This german version of the website has obviously not been updated since 2005...

I recently upgraded my PGV installation to 4.2.3 and suffered the 'Out Of Memory' problem, which was fixed. However, I am also unable to 'fix' the chosen default GEDCOM now. I can select it from the dropdown box, it flashes onscreen for a moment, but when I close and restart my browser (Firefox 3.5.6) it does not show my selected default. How can I fix this?.

I've created the new database and installed the new program in another directory but can't find out how to export the data form the old one - although i can find the option in the new one to import Gedcom file! - Help? -.

Thanks, Greg, I KNEW I had forgotten something. Changing from 4.1 to 4.2, and re-importing, usually means changes to the database. SO, using a different database name (like "pgv423") means you can keep the old directory AND database - , i.e. "pgv41x") while setting up the new directory AND DB.
So you are not "copying the old data," but (mostly) re-building it. Read the upgrade...

So - I've copied the index directory and I do understand that I can create a new table for the new version but how do I copy the old data into the new table or import it? I've backed it up from the old table...

This is a bad idea. A newer version of PGV can/will automatically update the database structure, update config files, etc. Using old code on a new database could cause "hard to fix" problems.

Naturalp:
When you're setting up a new site to run in parallel with the old, you should use a different database table name prefix. You DON'T want the PGV 4.2.3 installation to modify ANY of the existing database tables.
When you're upgrading, you first ensure that the GEDCOM in the old installation matches the contents of the database. Do this by exporting the database in the old...
