hi there
i have just the phpformgen to create a form that send the contents by email with an attachment.

Well. Until today I'm experiencing these problems with special characters.
I concluded that the problem is in the communication between the form page to the database.
The same problem remains. When I wrote "João" in the form, it writes on the DB "João". Note that the problem isn't in the DB, cause when I manually edit the value to "João", it is correctly stored on DB, "João". If the...

I used your code, but it still did not work, it just took me to a blank page. What if I try doing what **laisunshine** said and remove the top line with the 'server name' in it, you think that will then make your code work?.
