  • phpCollegeExchange implements housing section

We are slowly adding the necessary sections to build a full fledged college portal. Many kinks have been straightened out and the the base has been laid for a smooth growth. The community has grown with the code implemented at more than 5 sites. In the future we plan on adding a proffesor evaluation section, integrating forums, and a callender.

  • phpCollegeExchange is now Usable

After stripping off much of the old css and graphics and adding a section for housing phpCollegeExchange is a good start for a college community portal. 0.1.5 beta is out and getting pounded. Many improvements and features are still being added. We can use any php competent college student who is looking for a pet project and wants to be the coolest person on campus. Our next focus will be...

  • Use mailing list for discussion

It is easiest if we all use the mailing list at: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/phpcollegeex-devel There we will all have a central easilly accesible place for comments and questions.

  • Independent project

I need someone who knows PHP to finish the Admin section. It can be done with only basic knowledge of PHP and would be a great help. Look in the /admin folder to see what I have already done and e-mail me if you need more precise instructions (wich you probably will).

  • Housing Section Progress

The book exchange is pretty much done (except for striping all of my style) so I am working on the housing finder now. I have the add rental and search for rental almost complete. 1.4 will be out in a day and will have a decent working example. The hardest part was being able to upload images, but that is working now. Wish me luck and find all of the bugs. Update: The housing sections...

  • PHP help wanted

I am stuck on what should be an easy problem. In the rental section I don't know how to phrase the query that is used on the search page to return all relevant listings. The "house/search.php" page is set up correctly and the formating for at "house/searchend.php" is done but the simple query that combines the variables selected on the serch.php is eluding me. If anyone can...
