PhotoView 3.4 (6 Dec 2003) * Generates width and height of picture in thumbnail view and single picture view (width and height used to be computed, but was not used). * Generate title to page (no title used to be generated). * When viewing a given picture, prefetch the next one. * FIX: A XML parse error occured if there where characters like & (or other characters that need to be espcaped) in an album title. * FIX: Some weird behaviour could occur if there were non-ascii characters in picture descriptions. * When displaying a single picture, if a "a" is added after the resolution, the links on top of the page ("Previous", "Up", "Next") are not displayed. For instance with an URL that looks like albums/aboutalex/768a/aboutalex/alex-2002-broad.jpg (note the "768a"). This is especially useful when linking a signle image from a Web page (not generated by PhotoView).
PhotoView 3.3 (27 Sep 2002) * This is version has been tested with PHP 4.1.2. * Dynamically load the XSLT library (it looks like this library is not loaded by default in newer versions of PHP). * Use new API for xslt_processor (changed in PHP 4.0.3). * When sending images to the browser, PhotoView now understands the IF_MODIFIED_SINCE which is sent by the browser when it already has a copy of the image in cache and it just wants to check if it should refresh its cache for this picture. If the image has not changed, we now reply with a "304 Not Modified". This way the browser won't reload an image which is in its cache, unless the image has changed on the server. * Escape foreign characters in album and picture's descriptions. (Thanks to Olivier Bruchez for the bug report.)
PhotoView 3.2 (11 Apr 2002) * Removed TODO file. Now the "TODO list" is on Sourceforge, in Feature Requests. As a result anyone can easily submit suggestions, add comments, etc. * Use default CSS style (smaller font, sans serif).
