I’m trying to set-up pGina to auto-login from bootup. I could not get option, “Respect Autologin registry information” to work. After I logout I noticed it removes from the registry DefaultPassword and changed AutoAdminLogin to zero. Although the option, “Autologin using plugin” does automatically log you in, it does, but only after you press Alt-Ctr-Del from the console.

it would be interesting to develop a module to authenticate users validating X.509 certificates from a smartcard. The idea would be that this module could learn a map between the user credentials and certificates to authenticate users against original GINA. Another idea would also request username and password in addition to the certificate for validation.

when i try to log on my winXP i need to enter for 3 times my login and password to logon. It is with local users, with ldap users (ldapauth), with dummy plugin and local users, ...always
any help?

With ldap plugin, when i change the user password from Lockedscreen, the plugin do a bind request to the ldap directory and change password, but unfortunalty the plugin never do a unbindrequest.
So when you have a ldap directory than manage (limit) a limitation of simultaneous connection, aftre some password change, depend of limitation, you can continue to connect to the directory.
