A new release of the Perseus Java Hopper is now available. The Perseus Art & Archaeology module is now included with this release. Also, it uses new data that did not exist in the old releases. Therefore, you must download all of the data from http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/opensource and install it before you can use the new release.
A new release of the Perseus Hopper is now available. There have been many changes since the last release. If you want to use the new source code, you will have to reinstall the entire hopper since it is not compatible with the last release. You now have the option to download database dumps and other generated data and install the hopper that. These can be downloaded from the Perseus website (http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/). Please see the README and INSTALL files for more information.
Currently, the hopper will not install on Windows machines. It generates files with names that are illegal on Windows.
