    Joe,

    Just found this forum. Bought the dlink-DSM 320 last night. Their Media Server sucks, so I am investigating writing my own. I love PERL, and was suprised to perl impl.

    Just getting started myself. There are good docs about upnp at upnp.org. They are a little over my head at the moment. I am trying to understand the whole architecture.

    What are your interest in upnp? Mine: build my own tivo type infrastructure, based around dish network programing. But I also want to serve up ripped dvds, mp3s, digital photos, home movies...
