PerfMon is a simple but very usable performance monitoring tool for network elements like routers and switches. It's high performance polling enigne uses very little cpu processing and can handle multiple unreachable elements without locking up.

Changes in 2.1b1: * Www interface is completely templated, default templates are provided but a custom template can be configured for each group. * Groups are made hierarchically, parents can be specified * Groups can contain both subgroups and elements * Element references can be made, allowing the use of the same element in multiple groups and using rrd files updated by external programs. * One CGI generating graphs, polltype specific information can be configured in the rrddef definition. The RRD CDEF must be defined there. * RRD specific configuration is moved from the polltype definition to a new rrddef definition. Practice showed that several polltypes used the same RRD definitions. * Fixed reporting errors when a rrd is created.
