Description
PDF Split and Merge is an easy to use tool to merge and split pdf documents. Console and GUI versions are available. The GUI is written in Java Swing and it provides functions to select files and set options. It's made over the iText library.

It looks it has many different functions. If not mistaken the title says it can be used in both GUI and console mode. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to use the console mode. Automating files merging and splitting are what I need.

It's a shame that someone spent so much time coding and couldn't take a bit more time and write a user manual. The underlying code might be great, but it's a wasted effort if your users can't figure out how to use it.

One of those programs that will give you no clue on how to use it without reading a manual. Non-intuitive. No manual provided.

It is a typical developer view to work with pdf files. This starts with the left pane there you find split, merge, rotate and so on. But from the user point of view you want to deal with one or more pdf files and sort,rotate, reorder pages. One of the items of the left side seems to provide such an approach but the preview pages are to small to work visually with a pdf file..
