    I've been through several PDF print programs, but PDFCreator is the first one that works just the way I want it to! Thank you for this.

    MALWARE. My virus scanning program found "installmanager.exe" being installed. I see from other reviewers this is a browser toolbar that you are given no option to otherwise avoid installing. The ACTUAL software seems fine and has a lot of options. I had problems with another distiller making huge file sized PDFs from very tiny source files and this one seems to work well.

    I found searchsettings.exe taking up 25% of my CPU doing "whatever activity it wanted on my PC without my permission" - which I guess according to Spigot is not a virus. I tracked it back to this software install. I was suspicious of the toolbar add on - that you could opt out of - but there is apparently more hidden here. Might as well take that donate button down - PDFCreator has sold out.

    There is no option not to install the Browser stuff :-( Sad to see PDFCreator go this way.

    Horrific malware, took me ages with process explorer to and going through my browser configuration to get rid of it all. Still not completely sure I've managed it.

    Boo Hiss to Browser toobars and taking over my home page. Thank goodness for WinPatro - Scotty the watchdog caught it in the act and I was able to block it before my computer got totally hosed. I was able to convert my pdfs with it, then quickly un-installed it. Will look for something else.

    Wish there was any way to set the quality of images in my document. All my images are very compressed and blurry when i print the document in PDF

    Contains malware that hacks your browser to show mybrowserbar.com every time you can't find something. VERY ANNOYING! I now have to figure out how to remove this and am wondering what else this program installed that I can't see.

    While the functionality provided by PDFCreator is top-notch, the inclusion of the toolbar is a bit too much to stomach. While the toolbar is easy to uninstall, there should have been an option NOT to install it during the installation process. It should be noted that on the installer page informing you of the toolbar there is a checkbox you can untick (usually disables installation of that component), however this checkbox merely controls wether Yahoo! is set as the default search provider. Cliff notes: top notch functionality marred by borderline malware toolbar with an installer that is disingenous at best, malicious and misleading at worst.

    This is a fantastic program! It is easy to use, yet offers control over resolution and compression, which ultimately affects the file size. I have used this program easily 100 times or more over the past few years and wouldn't want to have to work without it. And, I appreciate that the author has continued to make updates, adding even more usefulness to the program.

    I have used PDFCreator on numerous different computers for a number of years and I consider it an indispensible utility. My only complaint is that there are so many imitators and scammers around that it makes it difficult for the ordinary computer user to locate and download the legitimate program, but I guess that's not the PDFCreator project's fault - "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"
