We will check this. This once was the correct way of encoding non-ascii-chars. I would wonder if this has changed.

There is no infection with spyware. Have a look a this FAQ entry on how to not install the toolbar: http://en.pdfforge.org/content/pdfcreator-toolbar-spyware.

this is a known problem and will be most likely fixed with the new release coming in a few weeks.

Can you bring any proof that we deliver a trojan? All respected anti virus and anti malware companies have tested PDFCreator clean. If you do not want to install the toolbar or the search settings addon, you can disable both seperately.

A better work around would be to edit the security properties. You can give full control, or full control minus delete (delete directory--still allows deletion of subfolders/files)

While trying to install version 0.9.8, I received a an error message:
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\pdfcmnnt.dll
An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation."
I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 and have uninstalled the previous...
